Thanks to the technical advantages of maglev bearing’s high-speed frictionless operation, the maglev turbo expander is able to convert the pressure energy and thermal energy of the organic medium gas into mechanical energy, and convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.
The product is mainly applied to ORC waste heat generator unit, which can not only improve efficiency and reliability of the unit in an effective way, but also reduce maintenance workload and equipment cost significantly; without a lubrication system, the size and weight of the unit are greatly reduced. Therefore, it has a wide range of applications in many medium and low temperature thermal power generation plants.
The maglev turbo expander leverages the low boiling point characteristics of organic working medium to obtain higher steam pressure under medium and low temperature conditions, so that it drives the expander turbine to perform work and converts low-quality heat sources into high-quality electrical energy.
