PRODUCT OVERVIEW

CIGU Maglev ORC Turbo Expanders are designed for industrial waste-heat-to-power projects. The high-speed magnetic bearing rotor eliminates the need for a lubrication system, helping project teams reduce mechanical wear, maintenance workload and auxiliary equipment complexity.

IS YOUR WASTE HEAT SUITABLE FOR ORC POWER GENERATION?

We assess heat-source temperature, available thermal capacity, operating hours, cooling conditions, site space and grid requirements before recommending an ORC configuration.

START YOUR FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT

Please share your industry, heat-source medium, inlet temperature, flow or thermal capacity, annual operating hours, target power output, project country and available utility conditions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common questions about purchasing and implementing OIL-FREE MAGLEV ORC TURBO EXPANDERS FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTE HEAT RECOVERY

WHICH WASTE-HEAT CONDITIONS ARE SUITABLE FOR ORC?

ORC systems are typically evaluated for suitable medium- and low-temperature waste-heat sources, including industrial exhaust, boiler heat, process heat, waste incineration, cement production, steel processing and petrochemical applications. Final suitability depends on the heat-source temperature, flow, thermal capacity, operating hours and cooling conditions.

WHAT INFORMATION IS NEEDED FOR AN ORC FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT?

Please provide the project industry and country, heat-source medium, inlet temperature, flow rate or available thermal capacity, annual operating hours, cooling conditions, target power output, electrical requirements and available site information. Our engineering team will use these details for a preliminary technical assessment.

WHICH STANDARD OUTPUT RANGES ARE AVAILABLE?

CIGU currently lists standard Maglev ORC Turbo Expander models with power-generation outputs of 100 kW, 200 kW and 300 kW. The final model and configuration depend on the available heat source, operating conditions, cooling system and electrical integration requirements.

HOW ARE VOLTAGE, FREQUENCY AND GRID REQUIREMENTS HANDLED?

The standard product table lists 400 V and 50 Hz output conditions. Voltage, frequency, control, grid-connection and site-integration requirements should be confirmed during the engineering assessment. CIGU can review the project conditions and recommend a suitable configuration.

WHAT COMMISSIONING AND AFTER-SALES SUPPORT ARE INCLUDED?

CIGU provides on-site installation and commissioning support, as well as remote guidance and operator training. The equipment includes a standard two-year warranty covering parts and labor, with extended warranty options available upon request. Remote monitoring, preventive maintenance, spare-parts support and on-site service can also be discussed for each project.

HAVE A WASTE-HEAT RECOVERY PROJECT TO EVALUATE?

Share your heat-source data and target output. A CIGU engineer will review the application and advise whether an ORC solution is technically suitable.
